A long chat extension for DeepSeek
Tvara is a Chrome extension for long DeepSeek conversations. It keeps a long chat responsive, lets you jump to any message, and keeps your DeepSeek history on your own computer, where you can search it and export it.
Why DeepSeek chats get long fast
DeepThink answers carry a reasoning chain before the answer itself, and coding sessions fill with long blocks of code. Both make the page heavy quickly, and a heavy page lags while you type and scroll. Why a long chat freezes the tab explains what the browser is struggling with.
What Tvara adds to DeepSeek
- Speed engine. Messages outside the screen are put to sleep and wake as you scroll back to them. Nothing is deleted.
- Minimap and outline. One mark per message on the right edge, and a table of contents built from your prompts and the headings in the answers.
- In-chat search. Search across the whole conversation, including messages that are asleep.
- Answers without the thinking. The saved copy keeps DeepSeek's answer and leaves out the reasoning chain, and code blocks keep their language.
On DeepSeek every one of these is free.
About usage limits
DeepSeek does not publish a usage limit. It slows or refuses requests instead. So Tvara shows no DeepSeek usage figure at all, rather than inventing one.
Your DeepSeek history, kept on your computer
Tvara copies your DeepSeek conversations into a local archive in the background. Exporting the archive is free. Searching every archived chat at once, encrypted backups and Context Bridge are part of Pro: $1 once, on up to five devices. No chat text, title or prompt is ever sent to Tvara.
Questions about Tvara on DeepSeek
Does Tvara show a DeepSeek usage limit?
No, because DeepSeek does not publish one. It slows or refuses requests instead, and any number shown for it would be a guess.
Is Tvara free on DeepSeek?
Yes. The speed engine, minimap, outline, in-chat search and archive export are free on DeepSeek. Pro is $1 once, on up to five devices. It adds search across every archived chat, encrypted backups and Context Bridge.
